Inner Mongolia Trek
Level : Challenging
Inner Mongolia: the name conjures up vivid images of grassland, nomads and Mongolian hordes riding across the wide plateau of central Asia.  Certainly Genghis Khan and his descendant's empire were huge - from Vietnam in the east to Hungary in the west.  It was along a similar route that Marco Polo journeyed some 700 years ago opening up the famous silk route, part of which we will cover.  Our trek will no doubt also prove to be a challenge, if somewhat, though on a smaller scale than that which faced Marco Polo and his compatriots in the latter part of the 13th Century.
